Senior Early Years Practitioner

BRAND NEW DAY NURSERY NOW OPEN AT ADVENTURE FARM, BURTON-ON-TRENT!

Adventure Farm Day Nursery is focused on outdoor learning, natural materials and resources and following a “child led” learning approach. We offer a unique environment and learning experiences for the children in our care. Due to continued success and expansion, even in these challenging times, we are excited to announce that our brand new 96 place day nursery at Adventure Farm in Burton-on-Trent is now open, and we are looking for an experienced and confident Senior Practitioner to assist the Room Leader with the day to day running of our baby room in this new farm based setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

- To support the day to day responsibility for the efficient running of the setting facility.

- To ensure that developmental records for your key group are kept up to date.

- To support your colleagues and work as part of a team in providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children. (Ages range from 6 weeks to 13 years dependent on setting).

- To assist in the development of an attractive stimulating range of equipment, activities and displays relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage independence, self motivation and eagerness to learn.

- To treat information of matters relating to the work within the setting as confidential.

- To ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene and welfare whilst maintaining adequate supervision of the conduct of the children attending the setting.

- To ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.

- To help support the management team to ensure that the Ofsted standards including EYFS is followed at all times.

- To support the management team in striving to deliver an outstanding setting

- Any other duties that may be required.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for confident Practitioners who are ready to take the next step in supporting our Room Leaders to manage and run our Baby Room. You will be motivated to hit the ground running and add value to our fun and hard working team. You will thrive in a busy environment, and always be on hand with new ideas and activities.

You will be confident in all areas of the EYFS and implement accordingly, and have experience in a similar role.

You must have a relevant early years qualification, ideally level 3 or above, though we will consider qualified level 2 applications.

Please note the nursery is open from 7:30am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday and so shift patterns will be rotating within these opening hours. Please make sure you can commit to early and late shifts before applying.

Early Years Practitioner

We have new vacancies available for full time, Qualified Practitioners, to join our baby room our new day nursery at Adventure Farm.

What are we looking for:

- Previous childcare experience, ideally in a day nursery setting

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cleaner to work 7.5hrs per week (18.30-20.00) Monday - Friday at our day nursery at Adventure Farm in Burton on Trent.

You will be allocated cleaning duties by the Nursery Manager ensure our nursery is of the highest standards and ready for our children the following day. Training will be provided.

Lunchtime Assistant

Duration: Part time, Permanent

Looking for something part time to fit in with family life?

Due to continued success and expansion, we are excited to announce that we have now opened our brand new 96 place day nursery at Adventure Farm, and there is a vacancy for a Lunchtime Assistant to join our team in this new, unique farm based setting.

The working hours are 11:00am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday. Please note, this position is ALL YEAR ROUND, and NOT term time only. Please only apply for the role if you can commit to working these hours during school holidays as well as term time.

Your role will be to assist in serving of children's meals, helping to feed the children where necessary, and cleaning and tidying away whilst also providing a general support function to your colleagues.
